Physical Therapy Done Different.

About Neighborhood Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy Built Around You

At Neighborhood Physical Therapy, we believe exceptional physical therapy begins with listening. Every patient has a unique story, different goals, and individual challenges. That's why we take a personalized, one-on-one approach to care that puts your needs—not insurance requirements—at the center of every treatment plan.

As a cash-based physical therapy clinic in Westminster, Colorado, we have the freedom to spend meaningful time with every patient, thoroughly evaluate movement patterns, and develop customized treatment strategies that support long-term success. Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, returning to sports, or simply looking to move more comfortably, we're committed to helping you reach your goals with evidence-based care and individualized attention.

Our mission is simple: Neighborhood Physical Therapy exists to help people in need of physical therapy to return to their life’s purpose.

Our Philosophy

At Neighborhood Physical Therapy, we believe caring for our neighbors is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to treating every person with compassion, respect, and genuine care while providing personalized physical therapy focused on helping you feel your best and get back to the activities that matter most to you.

Our philosophy is built on four core principles:

Personalized Care

No two patients are alike. Every evaluation and treatment plan is tailored to your specific needs, ensuring your care is as unique as your recovery.

Treat the Root Cause

Pain is often a symptom of an underlying issue. We look beyond the painful area to identify movement dysfunctions, muscle imbalances, mobility restrictions, and other contributing factors so we can create lasting improvements.

Patient Education

Understanding why you're experiencing pain is just as important as treating it. We take the time to explain your condition, answer your questions, and teach strategies that help you stay healthy long after your treatment ends.

Long-Term Results

Our goal isn't simply to help you feel better for a day or two. We want to restore movement, improve strength, reduce the risk of future injuries, and help you return to the activities you enjoy with confidence.

Meet Dr. Leyden Neumayer, PT, DPT

Neighborhood Physical Therapy is owned and operated by Dr. Leyden Neumayer, a Doctor of Physical Therapy who is passionate about helping people overcome pain and move with confidence.

Leyden earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Regis University and has more than a decade of experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions. Throughout her career, she has worked with patients of all ages, from adolescents to older adults, helping everyone from recreational athletes to individuals managing chronic pain.

She has a particular clinical interest in treating conditions involving the spine, hips, and shoulders while developing individualized rehabilitation programs that help patients return to work, recreation, and everyday life.

In addition to her broad orthopedic experience, Leyden holds specialty certifications in Functional Dry Needling and incorporates a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques to help patients achieve lasting improvements in mobility, strength, and overall function.

More Than a Profession

Helping people move better isn't just what Leyden does—it's how she lives.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, hiking, riding dirt bikes, and training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Staying active has given her firsthand insight into the physical demands of sports, outdoor recreation, and everyday movement.

That perspective allows her to better understand the challenges her patients face, whether they're training for competition, returning after an injury, or simply hoping to enjoy an active lifestyle without pain.

Her goal is to help every patient return to the activities that matter most to them with greater confidence and improved performance.

Why Choose a Cash-Based Physical Therapy Clinic?

Choosing a private-pay physical therapy practice offers several advantages that allow us to deliver a higher level of personalized care.

Instead of structuring treatment around insurance limitations, we focus entirely on what's best for you.

Benefits of our cash-based model include:

  • One-on-one appointments with your physical therapist
  • Longer treatment sessions
  • Individualized treatment plans based on your goals
  • Flexible scheduling and progression of care
  • No unnecessary treatment restrictions
  • Greater emphasis on education and prevention
  • A collaborative relationship focused on long-term wellness

This approach allows us to provide the attention, communication, and clinical decision-making that many patients find difficult to access in traditional, high-volume clinics.
